The Yellowstone wolf team has provided the data for the wolves they radio collared (after much difficulty) this January and a second round in February These data will be useful for following wolves in the future.

There didn't seem to be any of those 160 - 170 pound wolves that the anti-wolf folks are talking about as the average size of the "Canadian gray wolves", and, of course, there never have been wolves that size.

My impression, with little calculation, is that the Yellowstone Park wolf weights are slowly declining.

I thought the small size of the Geode Pack alpha female 106F was interesting. She must be the smallest alpha in the Park.
