Elusive Nez Perce Pack still not found

11-9-01, Update 11-14-2001

Today the USFWS flew again over the Ashton, Idaho area, then further west still over the sand hills winter range area and then south along the Idaho/Wyoming border, all the way to Palisades Reservoir, and back, but the 13 or so wolves were not found.

Flights are planned again this weekend.

Update Nov. 14, 2001. The Park Service or the USFWS has flown to find the Nez Perce Pack every day since Nov. 9. Yellowstone Park has been rechecked, all of SW Montana between Dillon and the Park has now been checked, Eastern Idaho has been rechecked and also the NW Wyoming area, but no Nez Perce Pack.
