Yellowstone phone no. for wolf updates

In response to many requests for information on the Yellowstone wolves,
Yellowstone National Park has established a recording that gives the
latest status of the reintroduced wolves.

The phone number is 307-344-2240. The Park regrets that funds are so
tight that a toll-free number could not be established.

I was at Mammoth Hot Springs (Park Headquarters) on June 2. I tried
the number, and it gave me the results of the May 29 tracking flight.

I will continue to give updates on this web page. However, this number
may be useful to those with no current access to the internet such
as a Yellowstone visitor.
