Lamar Valley at Rose Creek.

The Lamar Valley in the northeastern corner of Yellowstone has always been the best place in the Park to observe wolves. At first, the Valley was shared by several wolf packs, but from 1998 to 2004 it was completely dominated by the the Druid Peak wolf pack. In 2005, however, the larger Slough Creek Pack increasing marginalized the Druids.
