Marsh Creek, Central Idaho
The headwaters of Marsh Creek at Capehorn Meadows. Sawtooth Range in the distance. Marsh Creek and Bear Valley Creek are the headwater streams of the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. Its headwaters are at Blind Summit, a very subtle watershed divide, about ten miles north of the small town of Stanley. Marsh Creek has sporadically been a hot spot, favored by numerous wolf packs. From May until mid-June visitors can see an incredible number of elk on the meadows of Marsh Creek. |
