Mouth of Pelican Creek. Yellowstone National Park.

Pelican Creek flows down the Pelican Valley and into Yellowstone Lake. The Pelican Valley, little visited by people due to grizzly bear restrictions much of the year, is one of the prime moose and bison areas of the Park. It is inhabited by Mollies (formerly named Crystal Creek) wolf pack. There are many elk in the summer too, but they leave in the winter due to the deep snow. The bison survive in deep snow and in the scattered thermal areas.
