Wyoming poison may have finally killed a wolf.

Note: I missed this story because it only appeared in hard copy, not on-line in the Jackson Hole News and Guide.
It was reported in the Jackson Hole News and Guide on June 30 that a wolf had been found dead on the Greys River road near Alpine, Wyoming, a road where lethal Temik bait had also killed several pet dogs earlier this year.
The wolf 'carcass was shipped to the Ashland, Oregon federal forensic lab, but they couldn't decide on the case of the wolf's death, although further tests on the kidneys and liver were underway.
Dominic Domenici, of U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Law Enforcement in Wyoming indicated that the wolf, like some dogs, might have vomited up most of the poison before it died.
No one has yet been arrested for the many Temik (aldecarb pesticide) dog poisonings put in bait in Idaho or Wyoming.
