Defenders of Wildlife, the same group that pays ranchers for losses to wolves, is offering a $6000 reward for information about who killed wolf no. 10 near Red Lodge, Montana last week.Meanwhile, the Crystal Bench pack of six wolves has moved back into the Park. The young female that had been with the Rose Creek pack was also in the Park. It was the large male of the Rose Creek pack that was apparently the victim of foul play.
The five wolves in the Soda Butte Creek pack are inside the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness NE of Yellowstone N.P.
The packs are named after where their holding pens were located.
