Statement by the Wolf Recovery Foundation on the
terrorist attacks.

9-17-2001

Dear Friends,

We send our heartfelt sympathies and love to the victims of the tragedy last Tuesday in New York, Washington, DC, and Pennsylvania.

We send our gratitude and blessings to those who are still working, despite their fatigue and sadness, at the sites of those tragedies. Although shock, anger and sorrow are our first reactions, we must pause and realize this is a time to regroup, reflect and rebuilt. A time for each one of us to regroup by bringing our families, friends, communities together, putting aside any conflicts and giving mindful support of ourselves and others. Reflect on how we live our daily lives and what we can do to change any feelings of animosity or prejudices toward our fellow human beings. Rebuild our communities not as they were, but better, stronger, more loving, more cooperative in spirit. Most of all, be in gratitude for each day's gifts and, when our hearts are overflowing with those gifts, to send something on to others. Continue on with our daily lives and our work, as we here at Wolf Recovery Foundation, Inc. intend to do, for not to do so would only feed whatever forces caused this tragedy.

The one thing that has been made very clear by these events is that we are truly a global community, one Earth community, and we must do all we can to make our Earth community a safe, clean, beautiful place for all her creatures to live. We at WRF intend to keep working toward that goal and ask you to join us in whatever way you can.

Robin M. Mullet, President Wolf Recovery Foundation, Inc.
