Utah wolf meetings begin on March 8

3-7-2004, Update 3-15, 3-20

This alert will be helpful to folks who want to see wolves returned to Utah to help restore beauty and balance.

Ralph Maughan

Speak out for the wolves! Please Attend!

Update 3-15. Update. Sounds like wolf supporters are getting their butts kicked in these meetings by a bunch of raving reactionaries. Sad.

Update 3-20.  Residents voice input on wolves in the state. By Caleb Warnock The Daily Herald (Provo, Utah). "No wolves in Utah, ever."

The Utah Gray Wolf Working Group is planning ten “open houses” throughout the state during the month of March (see schedule below).

Please plan to attend and speak out in favor of wolves!  Don't be shy.  This is your ONE BIG CHANCE to have an impact on the shape of Utah’s future wolf management plan. (see Utah Wolf Forum's Talking Points)

Urge people to attend in any way you can about the meeting in your region--use radio and newspapers, the Internet, and word-of-mouth.

It's NOW OR NEVER!  The wolves are depending on you!
