The photo was taken from just beyond (south of) Flora Lake in the headwaters of Eyrie Creek. All of this country is on the north end of the Washakie Wilderness just to east of Yellowstone National Park.  Sheep Mesa runs for many miles at elevation of 11 to over 12,000 feet.
