Mid summer 2002 Greater Yellowstone pup numbers

The latest pup counts have been released for the wolves in the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. I have posted a number of updates previously this year, but this is the most complete.
Below are the number of pups by pack this year, and compared to last year -- 2001.
In total 100 pups have been counted at mid-summer. compared to 77-79 at the end of 2001.
Packs that reside primarily inside Yellowstone National Park-

** 2 separate females -- former Druids -- had separate dens but later combined the pups

** The official count of wolves for the Greater Yellowstone was 218, but has you can see the count was not exact. 218-227 better reflects the count.
